Welcome to Vibeesta — a platform built for students to express, connect, and explore creativity within their college ecosystem. These Community Guidelines define what is allowed on Vibeesta and how we maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment.
Vibeesta is intended for users aged 16 and above. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
By accessing or using Vibeesta, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Respect, Safety & Positive Behavior
We expect all users to contribute to a respectful and welcoming environment.
- Treat everyone with dignity, respect, and empathy.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, intimidation, or targeting individuals/groups is strictly prohibited.
- Hate speech or discrimination based on religion, caste, race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, or any identity is not allowed.
- Do not engage in trolling, provoking arguments, or spreading negativity intentionally.
- Avoid abusive language, slurs, or degrading remarks.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and healthy interaction.
Content Standards (Detailed Policy)

- Creative expression (videos, reels, photos, storytelling)
- Talent showcases (music, art, acting, dance, skills)
- Campus life, relatable student content
- Informational or infotainment content
- Opinions shared respectfully
❌ Strictly Prohibited Content:
Sexual Content:
- • Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content
- • Suggestive or sexualized content involving minors (zero tolerance)
- • Explicit sexual conversations or content intended to arouse
Violence & Harm:
- • Graphic violence, gore, or disturbing visuals
- • Promotion of dangerous acts, stunts, or challenges
- • Content encouraging harm to self or others
Self-Harm & Suicide:
- • Promotion, encouragement, or glorification of self-harm
- • Suicide encouragement or instructions
Illegal Activities:
- • Drugs, weapons misuse, hacking, fraud, scams
- • Any content promoting unlawful behavior
Misinformation:
- • False or misleading content that may cause harm
- • Impersonated news or fake alerts
Child Safety & Protection (Zero Tolerance)
WE MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS.
Any form of child sexual exploitation or abuse is strictly prohibited.
Sharing, requesting, or distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) leads to immediate permanent ban and legal reporting.
Grooming, manipulation, or inappropriate interaction with minors is prohibited.
Even non-explicit but sexualized content involving minors is banned.
Suspicious behavior must be reported immediately.
Privacy & Personal Information
Your privacy and others’ privacy must be respected.
Do not share sensitive personal information:
Do not expose or leak someone else's personal data (doxxing).
Always take explicit consent before posting someone else's content.
Do not record or share private conversations without permission.
Copyright & Intellectual Property (Detailed)
- Do not upload copyrighted photos, videos, movies, or web series clips.
- Do not upload music, songs, or audio tracks without rights.
- Avoid using full copyrighted songs unless licensed or permitted.
- Always provide proper credit to original creators.
- Do not claim ownership of someone else's work.
- Reposting without credit or permission may lead to removal.
- Repeated violations may result in strikes, suspension, or permanent ban.
Impersonation
- Do not impersonate any individual, influencer, or public figure.
- Do not create fake accounts to mislead or deceive others.
- Do not pretend to represent an organization without authorization.
- Parody accounts must clearly disclose their nature.
Anti-Spam Policy
- No spam, repetitive posting, or content flooding.
- No fake engagement (bots, bought likes, fake followers).
- No phishing, scams, or misleading links.
- No unauthorized promotions or advertisements.
- No mass messaging or unsolicited promotions.
Vibeesta Zones & Feature-Specific Rules
Feed (Main Content)
• Focus on quality, creativity, and relevance.
• Avoid low-effort, repetitive, or misleading content.
Scrolls (Short Videos)
• Keep content engaging but safe.
• Avoid harmful trends or risky challenges.
Flicks (Stories)
• Temporary content must still follow all guidelines.

Important: Anonymous does NOT mean consequence-free.
- • No hate speech, harassment, or personal attacks.
- • No targeting individuals, groups, or communities.
- • No spreading rumors, false accusations, or defamation.
- • No sharing private or sensitive information.
- • No abusive, explicit, or harmful content.
- • Violations in anonymous mode will still lead to strict action.
DMs, Community Chats & Group Chats
- Respect boundaries and consent in conversations.
- No harassment, bullying, or repeated unwanted messages.
- Do not send explicit, abusive, or threatening content.
- No spamming links, promotions, or scams.
- Do not share private media, chats, or screenshots without consent.
- Group chats must maintain respectful and relevant discussions.
- Admins of community groups are expected to maintain discipline.
Mental Health
- • Do not promote or glorify self-harm, depression, or harmful behavior.
- • Sensitive discussions must be handled responsibly.
- • Avoid triggering content without context or warning.
- • Encourage support, awareness, and positivity.
Reporting & Tools
- • Report violations using in-app tools.
- • Reports are reviewed by automated systems and moderation teams.
- • False reporting or misuse of reporting tools may lead to penalties.
